Each object exists within a network of relationships: between form and surface, between different objects sharing a space, and eventually between an object and the person who encounters it.
Forms can meet, contain or support one another while retaining their individuality. 
Surface, weight, texture and, at times, sound invite touch and allow the relationship to unfold beyond sight alone.

Transformation

Matter is explored through its ability to change.A plant becomes ash. Stone becomes sand. Clay, minerals and other materials react through fire. 
Stoneware and high-temperature firing are used precisely for their capacity to produce these transformations for surfaces to retain a sense of something having happened.Every surface is developed in the studio through continuous testing and each incorporates natural or recovered materials, such as ash, earth, sand and other. The surrounding territory enters the work both physically, through materials, and through the observation of its colours, forms and processes.
Time shapes the forms too. 
Mediterranean landscapes, natural and archaeological objects are some of the references, but never models to reproduce. Forms are simplified and altered, as if water, use or time had gradually removed what was no longer necessary.The aim is not to reconstruct, but to imagine what might remain after transformation.

The making of an object ends in the studio; its story does not.
The pieces are deliberately made, but not entirely determined.A form may suggest an origin without declaring it. An object may recall an artefact without belonging to a specific time. Its surface may make us wonder how it came to exist.This ambiguity leaves room for interpretation — and for use.A cavity can hold water, a flower, incense, a candle, jewellery, or simply remain empty.

Function is real, but open: the object offers possibilities rather than prescribing a single use.Each piece can acquire new meanings through the person who chooses it, the way it is used, and the objects that come to live alongside it.
